Butterfly Festival

EVENT POSTPONED UNTIL  2022

Please join us at this exciting event where you will learn about the beauty and character of thousands of butterflies and its life cycle and ecosystem. Chance to see a butterfly hatch from the chrysalis and everyone gets the chance to feed a butterfly.

Our Projects

Key Club Support
Sponsor and provide guidance to Key (Kiwanis Educating Youth) Clubs at five High Schools in Frisco, Plano and Lovejoy.

 Butterfly Festival
Annually the club hosts a fun and educational festival in a conservatory filled with flowers and over 1,000 flying butterflies. We have raised over $200,000 going to support the children of our community.

 Plano Balloon Festival
Provide volunteers to give out “lost child” Id wristbands at the entry gates.

 Eliminate Project
We are proud to be a Model Club by committing $6,000 to the Kiwanis International ELIMINATE Global Campaign for children to eliminate maternal/neonatal tetanus from the earth.

 Special Olympics Area Games
Provide funds, referees and volunteers for children with intellectual disabilities to participate in sporting activities
Casino Night Charity Fundraiser
A fun filled night with prizes, a silent auction, dinner and drinks. Funds raised benefit underprivileged children in our community and our oversees initiative to support “Teaching with Jamaica” a charity of local teachers.

Collin County Advocacy Center
Our club pledged $5,000 to be a Guardian Angel Donor to support the efforts of this organization to provide safety, healing, and justice to children victimized by abuse and/or neglect.

Kid-Netic Games
Financial support and volunteers at their annual games for children with physical impairments.

College Level Scholarships
Each year we provide scholarships in a field of study for students at a college of their choice.
